GREEN STYLE, GREEN HOSPITALITY and ECOLABEL are now much used words.
ECOLABEL is the certification of quality environmental conformity for goods and services recognized by the countries of the European Union and by Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and others in the world.
The promise of GREEN HOSPITALITY concept is wide and can includes different assets and best practices: from bioclimatic architecture to ecolabelled indoor paint, varnish and detergents to water-saving...
Of course a few accommodation can be full GREEN, others almost greenish.
We sent "Il Mondo in Casa" members a questionnaire to check and evaluate their green quotient and award the winners with our symbol

- Did you use ecolabelled or non-toxic indoor paint and varnish?
- Do you use natural fibers linen only?
- Do you use ecolabelled or biodegradable detergents?
